Through her continued advocacy for equity in education and healthcare for our state’s most vulnerable populations, Tiara was recently elected as the 1st woman of color to serve on the Heartland Area Education Agency Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations: Red Cross of Central Iowa, Investing in My Future, Jungle Vine Foundation.
Tiara’s entire professional career has been dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who need it most. She is now ready to do the same in the Iowa House of Representatives.
